Sweater modification

I have done many clothing refashionings over the years, and more often then not, I finish and just want to chuck whatever piece I have just altered, either out of frustration, or because it looks terrible.  A few weeks ago I was looking at all the sweater modifications from this blog and decided to give it another try.  I based it off of this sweater, from Anthropologie.com:

Here is my version:

sweater: Old Navy; skirt: J Crew; shoe: Dillards

Not quite as effortlessly chic on me, but my modeling abilities are a work in progress...
